Yorkshire Eyewear Wins Customer Service Excellence Award at SightCare Awards and Conference 2026.

What an unforgettable evening it was for the team at Yorkshire Eyewear as we attended the 2026 SightCare Awards - and even more excitingly, took home the Customer Service Excellence Award!

We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to have received this recognition. Customer service has always been at the heart of everything we do, so to be recognised amongst so many fantastic independent practices and professionals means the world to our team.

At Yorkshire Eyewear, we believe that exceptional eye care is about so much more than simply providing glasses or eye examinations. It’s about creating a welcoming environment, taking the time to truly understand our patients, and ensuring every person who walks through our doors feels valued, listened to, and cared for. This award is a reflection of the dedication, passion, and hard work our entire team brings every single day.

Alongside the awards evening, the team also had an incredible time attending SightCare LIVE 2026. We made the most of both the inspiring workshops and the buzzing exhibition floor, taking the opportunity to connect with familiar faces as well as meet new friends, suppliers, and industry peers from across the optical industry.

From discovering the latest innovations in eye care and eyewear to gaining fresh perspectives through the workshops, we’ve come away feeling energised, motivated, and full of inspiration. Events like these are invaluable for helping us continue to evolve as a practice, and we’re excited to start putting new ideas into practice with a continued focus on enhancing the patient experience and delivering the very best care possible.

The whole event was a fantastic celebration of independent optics and the people behind it. It was wonderful to spend time surrounded by so many passionate and inspiring professionals, all working towards raising standards and pushing the industry forward.

We’d also like to say a huge congratulations to all of the other finalists and winners on the night. The standard across the industry continues to be exceptional, and it was an honour to be part of such a special event.

Finally, a big thank you to SightCare for hosting such a brilliant few days and for continuing to champion independent practices across the UK.
